Highlights:
We established this itinerary from 2001, till now we dealt more than thousands tourists and rewarded good comments. Cross throughout Ganzi and Aba, from a lower elevation to high to make the tourists adapting the plateau, and see most of the Tibetan plateau scenery in limited itinerary. Sight spot: Mt. Siguniang, Danba, Tagong Grassland, Tibetan lifestyle, Xinduqiao Bridge, Hailuogou National Glacier Forest Park, China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda (CCRCGP) in Wolong Nature Reserve. . Safety: The on-bus drive is tedious, however the scenery will be fantastic, our tour group will cross over 2 mountains, which have more than 4000m elevation. Besides Kangding the road is smooth, however the mud-rock flow, traffic jam, road broken often happens for the tedious mountain area drive. Tourists should understand that and comply with our tour guide, moreover, be careful for the hypoxia of plateau.
Itinerary and price
Day 1:Chengdu - Mt. Siguniang
Depart from Chengdu, en route visit Mt. Balang, grassland and the yaks, arrive Mt. Siguniang / Rilong county, and head to Shuangqiaogou, have supper and overnight in Rilong county.
Day 2:Changpinggou Horse riding-Danba
(horse-riding costs RMB50-RMB150, excluded, trekking by the footpath is also available.)
Transfer to Changpinggou valley after breakfast, tourists may visit this valley by trekking or horse-riding, you can see the four peaks of Mt. Siguniang and virgin forest, tourists should prepare some food. After that, driver to Danba and Overnight in Danba county.
Horse-riding cost: Depending on your riding distance, Start point to Erdaoping - RMB50, Xiaganhaizi - RMB100, Lianghekou - RMB150, you can negotiate with the horse owner, the price is calculated for round trip.
Day 3:Danba-Xinduqiao
After breakfast, visit Danban Jiaju Tibetan village, touch the local tibetans lifestyle.Then drive to Shuopo watchtowers which are over 1,200 years old.Continue driving to Xinduqiao. En route enjoy the beautiful natural scenery of Bamei and Tagong grassland. Overnight in Xinduqiao
Day 4: XinduqiaoKangding-Hailuogou
After breakfast, Sightseeing at Xinduqiao which is famous for the naturally scenery. Cross Mt. Zheduo at an elevation of 4300m, and arrive in Kangding for lunch then have a self city tour of Kangding-the City of Love Song. Continue driving to Hailuogou and overnight at Moxi town.
Day 5:Hailuogou Glacier one-day tour
Glacier one-day tour, overnight in Moxi town.
After breakfast, drive to Hailuogou National Glacier Forest Park, if you prefer to see the spectacular view of the glacier, you can catch the ropeway to the top (RMB160 for a round trip, cost excluded), then drive to camp 2, enjoy the hot spring (RMB50/p.p, cost excluded), after that, drive back to Moxi town.
Day 6: Back to Chengdu.
After breakfast,go back Chengdu , end tour.

Notes:
1.The temperature varies greatly and sunshine can be very strong, please bring jackets, sunburn cream, medicine for altitude sickness etc.
2.As we travel in Tibet area where the economy much more backward than other place, the diversity food is limited,so we suggest you order food by yourself or take some solid food.Most of local restaurant only can offer the simple Sichuan and Tibetan Dish.
3.The price is just for 1 bed in a standard room, if you want to occupy a whole room you should pay the single supplement for the other bed.
4.For avoiding the altitude sickness, please don`t do violent exercises, drink more water and rest as much as possible after sightseeing.
5.We suggest you don`t go outside of your hotel during the night.
6.Most of the time you will enjoy the beautiful views in the car, and the driving hours are very long in this tour.
7.Tourists should take the high plateau altitude into consideration, if unexpected accident(injury, death etc.) happen, the Insurance Company will compensate according to the regulations not our company.
8.Aba and Ganzi prefecture is short of water, some hotels can not provide enough hot water for bathing but you wont have problems in cleaning your mouth and face.
9.Minor program changes sometimes are necessary, depending on road conditions, weather and availability of room.
